Where have we been?
You may have realised that the Teacher Rep weekly took a small breather for the last two weeks. You may have also realised the lessons for students were not available for week 6 and week 7 (up until today). Exams are a very busy time not just for students, but teachers as well. We make sure to give you and your club the space to manage that energy. Now, we’re back, and we have some amazing announcements coming next week. Term 3 registrations are opening next week on our brand-new platform. We have so much to offer you and your clubs next term and can’t wait to share the news next week.
Speaking of energy management
The week 7 lesson is a powerful one. A lesson on energy management. Today, students struggle to balance their academic and personal lives, and what we notice around this time, is student burnout. Time is a finite resource, though personal energy is renewable! This week, students (and teachers) will have the perfect opportunity to note where their lives are at and how they manage their energy. This week’s activity provides meaningful questions that provoke a real response in students. A report of their answers can be provided on request (will be attached to the end of term report). We would love to hear your feedback on how you and your club went with the lesson this week. If you would like to share your experiences, feel free to contact Brett on 0430 329 029.
